From Service to Strength
In 2018, during a Boko Haram attack, Dean lost his right hand in the line of duty. The injury changed his life, but it did not define it. Through the support and rehabilitation programs of Africa Unconquered Foundation, Dean received training and empowerment that restored his confidence and independence. Today, he stands not as disabled, but as enabled a symbol of resilience and renewed purpose.

In 2021, while escorting troops on deployment, Festus discovered seven improvised explosive devices hidden along their route. As he worked to neutralize the threat and protect his team, an explosion occurred, costing him both arms, one eye, and most of his hearing. His sacrifice prevented greater loss of life. With continued support, Festus remains a testament to extraordinary courage, strength, and unwavering service.
